# Building a Welcoming Watertown

> BUILDING A WELCOMING WATERTOWN exists to:
Encourage the practice of hospitality throughout the greater Watertown Area.
Increase the capacity of grassroots leadership to bring about systemic change through
social action and support.
Identify potential leaders among members for training on local and regional issue
development and related action strategies.
Train leaders to identify issues and to mobilize necessary teams to address injustice and
inequality.
Partner with other organizations
